early embryonic: Centrosome Attachment
early embryonic: Fascinating and very reproducible phentoype. Centrosomes detach from the male pronucleus. The spindle is often set up without or with only partial participation of the male chromatin, leading to various chromosome segregation problems, which can manifest either in extra karyomeres forming or cross-eyed nuclear separation.
70-80% embryonic lethality. Some escapers develop an egg laying defect. Reduced brood size.
