WBPicture0000011764DescriptionFigure 7. Immunolocalization of SET-2L in the germline. Extruded gonads of wild-type worms were stained with affinity-purified anti-SET-2L antibody and DAPI to visualize DNA. The distal region of the gonad, where germ nuclei divide mitotically and enter meiosis, is to the left, and oocytes are in the upper right. SET-2L is visible in the distal mitotic region of the gonad, undetectable in early pachytene nuclei, and present at high levels in mid- and late-pachytene nuclei. Its level decreases again in oocytes. Bar, 20 um.
