With the use of an antisense probe, robust signals are observed in a two-cell stage embryo and in a four-cell stage embryo. Restricted signals along the midline are observed in intestinal precursor cells, arrowhead indicates anterior part of the embryo. (C) DAPI-stained embryos shown in B to visualize the nuclei. (D) Strong signal is observed along the intestine of a larva and in the pharyngeal bulb (E, arrowheads). Bar, 0.5 um.
