| Pattern | This plasmid gave nuclear localised b-galactosidase expression in the three cells of the rectal epithelium which form a ring situated posterior to the intestinal rectal valve. Staining in this region was present from L1 larvae through to adult and never observed in embryos. b-galactosidase expression was also detected dispersed throughout the pharynx in all postembryonic stages. | |||
