Pattern | Worm lines transformed with the recombinant plasmid and expressing GFP revealed an identical staining pattern throughout the various developmental stages from L1 to adults. Interestingly, staining was restricted to only two types of pharyngeal neurons. The neurons were identified by the localization of their somata and the unique branching pattern of their axonal endings as the single pharyngeal interneuron I4 and the sensory interneuron I2. | ||
