Subcellular_localizationIn intestinal cells, clustered signals of CRT-1 were observed around the intestinal vacuoles and intestinal granules of wild-type worms. The intestinal cells of C. elegans are characterized by the appearance of such granules and vacuoles alongside the intestinal lumen. In body-wall muscles, distinct enclosed signals of CRT-1 in the cytoplasmic regions of the muscle cells were observed. In the pharyngeal muscle cells, signals were detected in the cytoplasmic regions between muscular structures.
TypeAntibodyPolyclonal rabbit antibody. Immunogold electron microscopy with the use of anti-CRT-1 antibodies.
