PatternGFP expression is first apparent in comma-stage embryos in intestinal cells and continues throughout all larval stages and into adulthood. L1 larvae carrying the fat-3::GFP constructs showed GFP expression in the intestine, pharynx, and body-wall muscles. In L2L4 larvae and adults, in addition to intestinal, pharyngeal, and body-wall muscle expression, faint expression is observed in several head and tail neurons.

RemarkBoth N2 and fat-3 (wa22) were transformed with this construct and the GFP fluorescence pattern was similar in both genotypes.
