PatternGFP was observed in many of the tissues stained by the SQV-4 Abs, including the vulva, uterus, intestine, seam, and hypodermis. GFP was absent in oocytes, probably because expression from transgene arrays is silenced in the germline. GFP was observed in vulval cells containing 10 nuclei in the early L4 stage and in vulval cells containing 14 nuclei in later L4, consistent with the pattern of Ab staining.
