| Interaction_summary | LIN-3-GFP expressed in the oocyte under the germline specific pie-1 promoter was localized around the spermatheca and oocyte in wild type animals (n = 25, 100% normal). In contrast, LIN-3-GFP accumulated in the perinuclear region of the oocytes in snap-29(RNAi) animals (n = 28, 17% and 73% for normal and abnormal, respectively). Thus our data suggests that snap-29 regulates LIN-3 secretion in the oocyte, which is essential for ovulation. | ||||
