TypeAntibodyAntibody for ARX-7 was obtained from rabbits immunized against synthetic peptides CFGHGAIMRVFSGRQRL. Actin and ARX-7 were double-stained with their respective antibodies.
PatternARX-7 was localized in the cytoplasm of all of the cells. ARX-7 was localized among a broad range of cells including the hypodermal cells.

RemarkA reduction in the fluorescent intensities in embryos treated for arx-7(RNAi) confirmed the specificity of the staining against ARX-7. In arx-7(RNAi) embryos, no obvious changes in actin localization was observed by using an anti-actin antibody, although there was defect in actin filament formation.
