Using this antibody, we observed the reported staining for wild-type embryos (Fig. 3P,Q) but did not detect the antigen on the acs-1(RNAi)C17ISO embryo cell surface (Fig. 3R,S). Biosynthesis of chondroitin was not disrupted in the acs-1(RNAi)C17ISO animals, as it was readily detectable in the gonads (Fig. 3T,U)."
