PhenotypeWBPhenotype:0001278Remarkaft-7 RNAi was able to reduce the expression of F35E12.5::GFP in animals that were exposed to RPW-24. RPW-24 was shown to increase the expression of the F35E12.5::GFP transcriptional reporter and to stimulate the host immune response. This effect was seen when animals were either grown on OP50 or infected P. aeruginosa PA14.
RemarkRPW-24 is a molecule that protects C. elegans from bacterial infection by stimulating the host immune response. Addition of the small molecule RPW-24 was also shown to increase the expression of the F35E12.5::GFP transcriptional reporter. Exact sequence used for RNAi not stated by authors, spliced coding region sequence (07G2.2a) of gene used for curation.
