WBPicture0000011770DescriptionFig. 5. (A) Northern blot analysis of F27E5.1 and phas-1. The 1250 bp F27E5.1 mRNA is present in larvae (L2/3), dauer and adults, while the 870 bp phas-1 mRNA is present in embryos, larvae (L2/3). cec-1, coding for a chromatin associated protein, shows the relative amount of loaded RNA. (B) Developmental Western blot analysis. F27E5.1 (42 kDa) is expressed in all developmental stages, with the exception of embryos. Phas-1 (25 kDa) is expressed in all developmental stages, but not in the dauer larvae. Actin visualizes the relative amount of loaded protein extracts.
