WBPicture0000011726DescriptionFig. 4. Confocal images of N2 embryos labeled with anti-LMP-1 antibody. LMP-1 is widely distributed in early C. elegans embryos but is concentrated in the intestinal precursor cells in late stage embryos. In A, a few labeled granules are randomly distributed in a two cell embryo. A higher concentration of LMP-1 containing granules are seen in the four cell embryo in A, and the older embryos in B. (C) A one-and-a-half-fold embryo. At this stage most labeled granules are in the region of the developing intestine. (D) A higher magnification of embryonic granules, showing LMP-1 on the granule periphery.
