Animals are oriented anterior to the left and dorsal up. (A) Two-cell stage embryos. lir-2 transcripts were detected in both cells. (B) 50-cell stage embryos. lir-2 transcripts were detected in all cells. (C) 350-cell stage embryos. lir-2 transcripts were no longer detected at this stage. (D). Comma-stage embryos. Bar, 10 um.
