A, Total celluar RNA of the larval stages L1, L2, L3 and L4/adult stages of C. elegans was separated on formaldehyde/agarose gels, blotted onto nylon membrane and hybridized with the coding region of ceprx2. An EtBr-stained gel was used as loading control. B. and C, For examination of the CePrx2 distribution, a vector containing the promotor region as well as the first 185 bp of the ceprx2 gene in-frame with the gfp gene was injected into the gonads of C. elegans.
