WBPicture0000008925DescriptionFigure 2. Dynamic localization of mAb 6C4 antigen throughout the cell cycle. Two-cell C. elegans embryos were fixed and stained with mAb 6C4 (A, D, G, J, and M), DAPI (B, E, H, K, and N). C, F, I, L, and O show the merged mAb 6C4 (red) and DAPI (blue) staining. Coverslips were imaged on Deltavision microscope and 0.2-um optical sections were obtained as described in Materials and Methods. The images were deconvolved and analyzed as a projection of the entire stack. Nuclei at different positions in the cell cycle are shown: A-C, early prophase; D-F, late prophase; G-I, metaphase; J-L, anaphase; and M-O, metaphase/anaphase I of meiosis. Bar, 5 um.
