WBPicture0000008273DescriptionFigure 7. Identity of the neurons expressing cegat-1 gene in C. elegans. Expression of the cegat-1 gene in C. elegans was determined by a GFP reporter fusion construct. The construct was designed such that the expression of GFP was driven by the cegat-1 gene-specific promoter. This construct was then used to generate GFP-expressing transgenic worms. The top panel identifies the GFP-positive DD and VD neurons in the ventral cord (10x), the middle panel identifies the GFP-positive neurons in the tail region (20x), and the bottom panel identifies the GFP-positive neurons in the head region (40x).
