Interaction_summary"For the other herbicides tested (glyphosate, 2,4-D, paraquat), reporter gene induction was almost always observed at high concentrations ([1,000 mg l-1), although several oxidative stress-response genes were upregulated by paraquat at lower concentrations, as was sod-3 in response to 2,4-D (see Supplementary Material set 1). A range of different genes showed up-regulation by dichlorvos and rotenone, whereas endosulfan and chlorpyrifos both gave strong induction of cyp-34A9, even though the former is an organochlorine and the latter an organophosphate pesticide. The fungicide carbendazim, by contrast, down-regulated several heat-shock genes, but also up-regulated sod-3."
