  Pattern: The fusion protein ANT-1.1::GFP is detected early in the embryo at around the 50-100 cells stage. The cytoplasmic spotted green fluorescent protein (GFP) signal is continuously seen from the comma to the 1.5-fold embryo stage. Nearly all cells express the fusion protein. In these worms, the GFP signal was detected in all tissues, starting from very early embryonic stage. It is noteworthy that this translational fusion directs the expression of ANT-1.1::GFP in the germ line cells, although the GFP signal declined over successive generations.
