It also localizes to dense bodies, a transmembrane structure which links the muscle cytoskeleton to the neighboring hypodermis. EXL-1 localizes to the Golgi apparatus. RFP-tagged EXL-1 and the GFP-tagged Golgi marker clathrin heavy chain co-localize in the CAN neuron of transgenic animals. | ||
