TypeAntibodyPolyclonal antibodies against CDC42Ce was raised and used in indirect immunofluorescence analysis. The affinity-purified antibody against CDC42Ce recognized a single 23-kDa protein in extracts of mixed stage population of C. elegans. The specificity of the antibody was demonstrated by control Western blot analysis with recombinant CDC42Ce/GST protein, which showed no cross-reactivity of the antibodies.
PatternUbiquitously expressed throughout embryogenesis. However, at the stage when hypodermal cell fusion was occurring CDC42Ce was found to localize with CePAK at the cell boundaries.
