PatternThe Pmir-83::GFP reporter was widely expressed at all stages of development and across a range of tissues such as the intestine, neurons, and body wall muscles. Furthermore, we observed a significant decrease in the expression of miR- 83 between the L3 and L4 stages, which is consistent with a previous report (Martinez et al., 2008a,b), and a further decrease from day 1 of the adult stage through day 12. About 44% decrease in GFP expression driven by miR-83 was observed in older adults (day 12) compared to young adults (day 4).
