Brief_identificationnon-coding Transcript Isoform
Last_reviewed16 Mar 2010 00:00:00WBPerson1983
Remark[100316 pad] Converted this Isoform into a non-productive form following detailed personal communication from David Reiner. It appears that this Isoform would constitute the smallest RAS genes ever identified. These Isoforms also suffer truncation of the GTPase domain which is a tightly conserved domain and also lacks the CAAX motif which is always encoded in the last four amino acids of RAS proteins.Person_evidenceWBPerson516
