WBPicture0000013979DescriptionFigure 1. Expression Pattern of Sip1 and Its Importance for Survivalof C. elegans(A) Quantification by immunoblotting of Sip1 in different developmental stages of WT C. elegans, as well as in heat-stressed (HS) adults and asynchronous cultures (async.). Sip1 is expressed in eggs (set to 100%), egg-laying adults (Ad), and adults after reproduction (14 days old; Ad aged). The Dsip1 (tm3624) strain served as negative control. Inset shows expression of Sip1 (gray box) and Hsp16 (white circle) in adult N2 worms that were stressed at 35C for the indicated time, normalized to the Sip1 expression in unstressed nematodes. The original immunoblots are displayed in Figure S1.
