Subcellular_localizationIn most cells, SHC-1::GFP localized to both the cytoplasm and the nucleus. A portion of the protein seems to be associated with the cytoplasmic membrane. Interestingly, in intestinal cells SHC-1::GFP strongly localized to the nucleus.
TypeReporter_gene
PatternBroad expression of shc-1::gfp was observed in many tissues. GFP staining was observed in head and tail neurons, hypodermis, pharynx, vulva muscles, and intestine throughout all stages of post-embryonic development and adulthood.
