Subcellular_localizationFrom meiosis until nuclear envelope breakdown, GFP::CDC-37 is evenly distributed throughout the cytoplasm in a pattern consistent with free cytosolic proteins. At nuclear envelope breakdown, GFP::CDC-37 remains predominantly cytoplasmic but becomes transiently enriched around the chromosomes. As mitosis progresses, CDC-37 becomes slightly enriched on the spindle. Upon nuclear envelope reformation, CDC-37 is excluded from the nucleus.
