| Subcellular_localization | Imaging of ENRI-2::GFP animals also revealed expression in both embryos and the female germline with a more diverse sub-cellular localization. In early blastomeres (one- to eight-cell embryos), ENRI-2::GFP assumed a diffuse cytoplasmic localization while it localized to the nucleus beyond the eight-cell stage with an uneven expression across the different blastomere lineages. In the germline, ENRI- 2::GFP was predominantly nuclear in the maturing oocytes, thus diverging from the ENRI-1 localization. | |||
