Germ-layer genes were defined according to the sum of the genes identified by the clusters and are indicated in Fig. 2b. Authors further filtered the germ-layer gene sets by keeping only those genes whose expression was partitioned across the germ layers such that at least two-thirds of the expression was in that germ layer. | ||
