Single RNAi of F26B1.2 (hrpk-1) or Y59A8B.10 (nova-1) did not result in an observable phenotype. Double knockdown of these PCBP homologues (F26B1.2 and Y59A8B.10) caused reproducible embryonic lethality after roughly 5 embryonic cleavages.
The lin-14(n355) mutation (a gain-of-function which removes lin-4 binding sites from the lin-14 3'UTR) partially suppresses the eif-6(RNAi)-induced accumulation of LIN-14 protein
