mec-7 dominantly suppresses mec-15 touch insensitivity. mec-15; mec-7/+ animals are touch sensitive. mec-15; mec-7 double homozygous mutants appeared identical to mec-7 animals; the mec-15 cell-body phenotype was suppressed, indicating that mec-7 is epistatic to mec-15.
