Nuclear levels of SKN-1::GFP are barely detectable in the intestinal nuclei of animals maintained under normal conditions. However,
prdx-2 RNAi caused SKN-1::GFP to be detected in intestinal nuclei of a small number of SKN-1B/C::GFP animals and significantly increased the number of SKN-1op::GFP animals containing nuclear SKN-1::GFP. This suggests that loss of PRDX-2 increases the activity of SKN-1, particularly the SKN-1A form.
