A major increase in UNC-95::GFP levels, especially in the muscle cells bodies (that include the nuclei) was detected in the
rnf-5(RNAi) animals. Such a pattern of expression could not be detected in control animals. In parallel, crossing the RING finger deleted mutant
rnf-5(
tm794) to the strain carrying the UNC-95::GFP extrachromosomal array resulted in a very high level of GFP expression in the heterozygous animals, which is mainly localized to the muscle cell body.
