"To compare the efficiencies of NT219 and of BMS-754807, a kinase inhibitor of IGF1R (Carboni et al., 2009), as activators of the
hsp-16.2 promoter, we exploited CL2070 worms. The animals were treated with 150-900 μM BMS-754807, and GFP levels were examined by WB. Our results showed no elevation in GFP levels in BMS-754807-treated animals (Fig. S3). This observation suggests that in the worm, NT219 is a more efficient IIS inhibitor than the other compound."
