Is expressed in several structures, including excretory cell; gonad; head muscle; intestine; and ventral cord neurons. Human ortholog(s) of this gene are implicated in platelet-type bleeding disorder 19 and primary pigmented nodular adrenocortical disease. Is an ortholog of human PRKACA (protein kinase cAMP-activated catalytic subunit alpha) and PRKACB (protein kinase cAMP-activated catalytic subunit beta).
