Expression of the
pst-2 reporter appears generally weaker than the
pst-1 reporter. It is first seen at around the 350-cell stage and can be detected in ectodermal cells. During larval and adult stages,
pst-2 reporter expression appears restricted to the intestine and, in the adult stage, also to the toroidal epithelial cells that constitute the vulva. In addition, the
pst-2 reporter appears to be very weakly expressed in hypodermal tissues.
