- Expr3238
GFP-RME-6 was expressed in many tissues, including coelomocytes, oocytes, hypodermis, intestinal and pharyngeal cells.
- Expr2399
RME-8 expression in other cell types was examined by whole mount immunostaining. RME-8 is expressed in almost all cells. RME-8 was highly expressed in the lateral hypodermis, muscle, and the developing germ cells in larvae. RME-8 staining was extremely abundant in the developing uterus of L4 worms.

Neuronal Expression: AIA?, RIA?, URX, RIH?, RME, DA(weak).
- Expr11631
Pcam-1b::GFP is expressed in all four RME cells.
- Expr2791
RME-2 was detected only in the proximal region of the gonad in oocytes and young embryos. As the oocytes mature, the RME-2 receptor becomes concentrated on the oocyte cell membrane.
- Expr1347
RME-1 was most abundant in the germline, intestine, pharynx and coelomocytes.
- Expr11636
Pdsh-1b::mCherry but not Pdsh- 1a::mCherry is expressed in RME cells.
- Expr14764
RME-4 is widely expressed and found in the linker cell and in its engulfing cells.
- Expr1346
By using affinity-purified anti-RME-1 antibodies, five RME-1 isoforms were detected on western blots of lysates from a population of whole mixed worm, isolated gonads and isolated intestines. Western blotting of lysates from animals at specific developmental stages showed that the levels of small RME-1 isoforms were relatively constant, whereas the large isoform was absent or weakly expressed before the L2 larval stage, although its expression increased in later larval stages and reached its highest level in adults.
