The localization of CeCDC-14 was analyzed in wild-type C. elegans embryos, using the affinity-purified anti-CeCDC-14 antibodies for immunofluorescence microscopy.
Ce-cdd-2 first appeared in the 8 h sample (late L1), and then was more or less constitutively expressed up to the 34 h sample (young adult), after which expression increased in the 3640 h samples.
Expressed in all stages from eggs (time point 0) to 40 h during worm development. CeRh1 expression was rapidly up-regulated 2 h after fertilization, and this high-level expression was maintained throughout development until the 40-h time point.
LIN-14::GFP in the lin-14(n179ts); maEx166 strain continues to be expressed in cells of the head (until days 18) and tail (until days 16) of the aging adult.
