promoter. Dev Biol 276(2): 476-492.). The MEK-2 cDNA was obtained from yk1736d7
(a gift of Yuji Kohara). The sequence was modified using Quickchange (Agilent technologies) to create the S223E and S227D mutations and subcloned into a vector driving expression from the 1.3Kb egl-5
promoter fragment (pRJM120).
